UMTSEA, the UMT School of Educational Advancement, was established on 4th January 2024, as a private limited company in accordance with the Companies Act of 2016. As an esteemed learning centre affiliated with Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and a proud member of UMT Holdings, we are dedicated to fostering educational excellence through an expansive range of academic, professional, and tertiary education programmes.
In our initial phase, we are pleased to introduce a variety of programmes, including the prestigious Master of Business Administration (MBA), International STEM Foundation (ISF), comprehensive English language courses, specialised Professional Certificate programmes, the International STEM Foundation, and our Global Mobility initiatives. Looking toward the future, we are committed to thoughtfully expanding our offerings to include a diverse selection of programmes, particularly emphasising the Maritime Business School (MBS-UMT), Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL), Micro-credential pathways, Marine Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Open and Distance Learning (ODL), and additional innovative educational avenues.
Our centre is strategically located in the vibrant CP Tower in Petaling Jaya, surrounded by a wealth of amenities and a variety of dining options. Its accessibility is enhanced by proximity to the SPRINT Highway and the Federal Highway, and it is a short walk from the Phileo Damansara MRT station, making it convenient for all our students and staff. We have intentionally designed our centre to create a welcoming, dynamic environment that engages and inspires. We extend a warm invitation to international students and professionals, offering a truly global perspective that enriches each aspect of our educational offerings.
